CE Provider Information
Requests for course approval must be submitted at least 45 days prior to the first day of the course or event. (21 NCAC 28B .0402).
IMPORTANT: As a continuing education provider, you must attest that as the course provider, you will maintain attendance records for the course(s) for one year after the date of this course, provide each attendee with a proof of attendance (form provided by NCLCLB) and submit attendance sign-out rosters according to NCLCLB guidelines.
The Board reserves the right to audit courses, without charge. Upon request, course providers are required to provide access to in-person, webinar and/or on-line courses.
As of June 1, 2019, no more than four CEU credits shall be given for pesticide credits issued by the North Carolina Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services in one year. (21 NCAC 28B .0402)
You may submit your course application by US Mail or via Email (ce@nclclb.com). Please provide all supporting materials, including agenda with time schedule, program synopsis and presenter bios, with application to minimize any delays in the approval process.
This form is for education providers only and may not be used for individuals seeking continuing education credit.
NCLCLB Continuing Education Provider Credit Approval Application
All continuing education shall be taken in-person by the individual receiving credit. (21 NCAC 28B .0402 CONTINUING EDUCATION UNITS)
The Board seeks courses in the following subject areas:
- General Business Practices including:
- Business Planning
- Contracts
- Liability exposure
- Human resources
- Basic accounting
- Financial statements
- Safety
- Landscape Contracting topics including:
- Planting
- Natural and artificial turf
- Pruning
- Wildflower, native grass and no-mow seed establishment
- Finish grading
- Drainage systems and cisterns
- Low-voltage lighting
- Ornamental water features such as garden pools (not defined as a swimming pool under any state or local code)
- Paving
- Walls (retaining and freestanding)
- Design and consultation
