As a licensed landscape contractor you must personally attend the course/activity to obtain credit.  Filing false information is a violation of North Carolina law (N.C.G.S. 89D).

The following courses have been approved for continuing education credits (CEL) toward the landscape license requirement for:

August 1, 2018 – July 31, 2019

The seven (7) hours of Continuing Education credits will need to be fulfilled anytime between August 1 and July 31 of the renewal year.  Credits cannot be carried over to the next year.

At least three of the seven CEUs must be technical (landscape) credits and at least two of the seven CEUs must be business credits.  The number of business credit hours for a course are indicated with “B” to the right of the “Hours Credit”, and landscape (or technical) credit hours are indicated with an “L”.

* Please note: When attending a NCLCLB approved continuing education course, be sure to sign in on the official NCLCLB Sign-In sheet and get your official NCLCLB Proof of Attendance form (for your records) at the end of the class from the course provider. You will be asked to provide your continuing education course numbers when you renew your license.

This Board only considers continuing education for approval for landscape license requirements.  The Board is not involved with locations, course fees, or any logistics relating to continuing education courses.
