Covid-19 Update 3/27/2020: 11:30PM
The Governor has issued a state-wide “stay-at-home order effective at 5:00PM Monday, March 30, 2020 (Executive Order 121).
The good news is that under Section 2 “COVID-19 Essential Businesses and Operations”, Subsections C.-5 “Essential Infrastructure Operations” and C.-15 “Critical trades”, landscape services are included in the Order as “essential services”. HOWEVER, the Order does stipulate that this Order does not supersede County and municipality orders that are more restrictive. See Section 4 “Local Orders Subsection (a).
Again, the Order by the Governor clearly states that the state-wide Order DOES NOT supersede County or local municipalities orders that are more restrictive.
